Confronting Genocide: Never Again? A workshop on Human Rights and Genocide

Participants will be introduced to the Choices Program’s Competing Visions of Human Rights: Questions for U.S. Policy unit and Choices’ Confronting Genocide: Never Again  unit.  The workshop will explore the causes of genocide, why it persists, and how people have grappled with many questions in response to genocide throughout history and today.

Each participant will receive the two curriculum units, lunch, Act 48 credit, and parking.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The workshop is open to educators teaching humanities, geography, history, government, current issues, civics, and other social studies courses in grades 7-12.
