How does WMD proliferation threaten humans?
WMDs have the power to kill vast numbers of people and destroy state infrastructures. Some of these weapons, particularly nuclear weapons, can also make regions uninhabitable by destroying land, homes, communities, and affecting the livelihoods of people in the area.
