Privacy Policy Statement
This is the web site of the Choices Program, a program of the Watson Institute at Brown University.

We invite site visitors to join our E-letter list. Our monthly E-letter is distributed via email and highlights new resources, programs, and upcoming events. We do not share this list with organizations that are not directly affiliated with our work. If you do not want to receive this E-letter in the future, please let us know by sending us an e-mail at choices@brown.edu.

If you supply us with your postal address online you may receive periodic mailings from us with information on new resources and services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please let us know by sending us e-mail at choices@brown.edu or writing to us at the address below.

Data Collection
We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail. We also aggregate information volunteered by the visitor (such as survey information, site registrations, payment information). We do not keep credit card information after it is processed.

We gather certain information automatically.  This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser information, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and pages viewed.  This information does not identify individual users and is used for statistical purposes, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track user movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We do not link this automatically-collected data to any personally identifiable information.

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these.  If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back to our Web site periodically.
