The Choices Program curriculum units and the contents of this website are copyrighted. Copyright protections extend to various elements of Choices units, including titles, lesson plans, background readings, and the construction and language of the "options" or "futures" that are central to each unit.

Reproduction Rights

Your purchase of a Choices teacher set (student text and teacher resource book), in printed format or as a pdf from the Choices Program webstore, includes permission to print copies of the student text and appropriate student handouts from the Teacher Resource Book for use in your own classroom. A teachers set is NOT intended for multi-teacher use.

Intranet Posting Rights

Choices E-texts editions are designed for use in a paperless environment. E-texts should be posted to an intranet site where access is restricted. Electronic copies should not be posted to web sites with public access.

Use of Choices Materials in Other Work

If you would like to use material from a Choices curriculum unit, in whole or in part, in your own work, please contact us at choices@brown.edu for permission. We are usually happy to extend permission for most non-commercial educational purposes with appropriate credit given.

We encourage links to our web site. Please seek permission from choices@brown.edu if you wish to post any of our materials and graphics on your own web pages.
