The
Cuban Missile Crisis
Cuban
Missile Crisis – What if?
Scenario #4
It
is 1961 (before the Cuban missile crisis) and President Kennedy has decided
that the communist government of Fidel Castro with its close ties to the Soviet
Union represents a definite threat to the security of the United States. Due
to the proximity of Cuba and the ongoing threat of potential development of
weapons of mass destruction, a regime change must take place. The U.S. will
announce its intentions to the world and give Castro 48 hours to leave the country
before the invasion will begin.
