Cuban Missile Crisis
Cuban
Missile Crisis – What if?
Scenario
It
is September of 1962 (before the Cuban missile srisis) and the Soviet Union
and Cuba have just announced to the world that nuclear weapons will be installed
in Cuba within the next 2 weeks. Castro and Khrushchev have declared that this
is the only way that Cuba can effectively deter the U.S. from
attacks such as the Bay of Pigs and the CIA's continuing attempts to assassinate
Castro and overthrow the government. They have assured the world that the missiles
are for defensive purposes against the continuing aggressions of the United
States towards the Cuban government.
