Project Essential Question:

How have judicial interpretations of the United States Constitution included or excluded particular groups from United States citizenship?

Method to Answer Essential Question:

Create a poster of the Supreme Court case you researched with your partner that demonstrates what you have learned as a result of your research.

Your poster must include:

• the name of Supreme Court Case

• the date of case

• a brief summary of case

• the outcome of case

• a catchy slogan for your case

• photos or illustrations representative of your case (minimum of 3)

Be prepared to explain your case with the class, describing what it means for Americans and placing it in historical context.

Poster should be standard sized poster board of 28 X 26. Use the attached rubric for additional guidelines.
