The Syrian Civil War: An Online Workshop
The first part of this online workshop will focus on the lessons, readings, and videos in the Choices Program’s The Syrian Civil War unit, which is provided. Participants are asked to come to the workshop having read the curriculum unit.
The last hour of the workshop will feature an interactive panel discussion with members of DACOR who were involved in efforts to resolve the Syrian Civil War.
Workshop fee: $20, non refundable.
A two-year Digital Editions license to The Syrian Civil War unit is provided. A four-hour certificate of attendance will be provided. This reflects one hour of pre-workshop reading.
The primary audience for this online workshop is high school world history, foreign policy, international relations, and Middle East studies educators. IB Topics in 21st Century World History instructors will also find this program useful.
