Kick off the new school year with one of the Choices Program’s most versatile curriculums! The U.S. Role in a Changing World provides a wonderful introduction to all the curriculum units in the Choices Current Issues Series. The emphasis in The U.S. Role is on supporting students’ discussion of selected policy issues in the news today, understanding of multiple perspectives on these issues, and articulation of their own opinions on them. Engaging lessons in the curriculum cover topics such as American Exceptionalism and the Constitution and the War on Terror.

Prior to joining the Choices Program in 2011, Mimi worked at Clark University where she served as the Director of the Teacher Center for Global Studies supporting K12 social studies teachers throughout Massachusetts for more than 20 years. Mimi holds a Masters in International Development and Social Change from Clark University.
