Brazil: A History of Change

4:00 pm — 5:00 pm

In this first of a two-part webinar, participants will explore the Choices Program’s curriculum unit Brazil: A History of Change. This curriculum draws students into an often surprising and overlooked history of the largest country in South America by giving students an overview of Brazil’s past and tracking its legacies through the present.

Session 2 (date TBD) will feature an expert from the Duke Brazil Initiative to deepen content knowledge of the country.

Co-sponsored with UNC-Duke Consortium in Latin American & Caribbean Studies

I got a taste of what the material is like, which intrigued me. I love how it’s laid out; from geography, to history, to current events.
