Confronting Genocide: Never Again?
Join the Choices Program at the Long Island Council for the Social Studies annual conference to explore the readings, lessons, and videos of the Choices Program’s recently revised curriculum on Confronting Genocide: Never Again? Updates to the unit include the addition of the OvaHerero-Nama genocide in Namibia, a new Atrocity Risk and Prevention framework, several short videos, and four new lessons. Themes covered in the unit include historical memory, creating a virtual museum of repatriated objects, and more.
The time for this session will be announced closer to the time of the conference.
